At the start of the final day at the Kind + Jugend international trade show, I was keen to take in as much as I could in the time I had.
So, I headed over to the Silver Cross stand to meet the team and to see the new range.
With an Aston Martin at centre stage, my first reaction had to be wow! As I was shown around, I wasn’t disappointed by the new products either.
An absolute highlight had to be their collaboration with Marie-Chantal. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Princess Marie-Chantal, she’s the Crown Princess of Greece. She’s also renowned for her characteristic style choices and is passionate about classic, elegant and timeless design. This shines through in the new range that includes luxury prams, nursery furniture and bedding.
But, why the Aston Martin? This is another of Silver Cross’ collaborations which has created the ultimate in luxury nursery products. It includes the luxurious and striking Aston Martin cot, the ultimate centrepiece for any nursery!
Silver Cross are also celebrating their 140th anniversary! To commemorate this, they’ve created 140 limited edition, luxury coach prams (featured in the header image). Each pram is hand-built in Yorkshire making them each completely unique! Retailing at £2,500, they’re truly an exclusive celebration of this huge milestone!
Bags aplenty at Kind + Jugend!
Before I visited the Kind + Jugend show, I didn’t appreciate how many changing bag brands there were or how they all offer something slightly different. How anyone chooses which one bag to go for is beyond me!
PacaPod’s changing bags speak to my inner organised self. On the outside, their bags are beautifully designed and stylish but hidden within are a set of individual pods that keep everything completely separate – genius!
Then, my inner love for handbags and colourful tote bags draws me to brands like Petunia Pickle Bottom who create versatile, spacious and vibrant changing bags or Lassig’s uniquely shaped Rosie Diaper Bag. With its trapezoid shape, rose gold zip and four different wear and carry options – it’s another winner in my eyes!
As my time at the Kind + Jugend show drew to a close, I left feeling really excited about all of the new products coming out in 2018 as well as all of the new brands that we’re hoping to work with in the future.
So, all I can say is watch this space, 2018 is going to be a very exciting year!
