As day two of the Kind + Jugend international trade show dawned, I equipped myself with some sensible shoes as I embarked on another long day on my feet. My first stop was to see Cybex and Goodbaby (GB). Both brands have some very exciting new products launching in 2018, so I was keen to see them for myself.
Cybex and Goodbaby
The GB Cot To Go and GB Pockit+ compact stroller were two of the highlight products. They’re both perfect for when you’re travelling as they’re lightweight and compact! Take a look at this video to see them in action.
GB also have the Platinum car seat portfolio which includes the GB Vaya iSize car seat. This car seat allows your child to rear face from birth up until 105 cm and has a 360° rotation, making getting your little one in and out easier. As part of the GB Platinum Portfolio, the Vaya iSize follows the DSF principles – Design, Safety and Functionality.
It has a minimalistic and futuristic design as well as many safety features, including a linear side impact protection system and Driving Direction Control (DDR technology). This prevents parents from misusing the seat, ensuring it can only be used forward-facing when your little one has reached 75cm. The seat is also super functional with a one hand rotation and magnetic harness hold which keeps the harness open as you pop your child into the seat!
In a spin
Cybex have pulled out all the stops with their incredible new product range. There’s so much I could tell you about but my absolute highlight had to be the Eezy S Twist.
When it comes to product innovation and style, Cybex always seem to get it right! The Eezy S Twist is a lightweight stroller that has a 360° rotating seat! This means your little one can easily face forwards or backwards with one easy twist of the seat unit. With a simple one-hand fold, extendable sun canopy, five-point harness and a cocoon for use from birth, the Eezy S Twist is the epitome of practicality, functionality and style. Keep your eyes peeled in spring 2018 for the arrival of this stroller on the market.
Following my meeting, I headed over to visit Skip Hop. They have such an imaginative and distinctive range of products, including their adorable Zoo Crew collection. I was very excited to see the limited-edition Winter Zoo range.
Available in either Blake bear or Daisy deer, the collection includes backpacks, meal time gift sets and straw bottles. These seasonal characters are spot on! If it was possible for my eyes to turn to love hearts like an emoticon, then I’m pretty sure that’s how I would have looked when I saw them! Keep your own eyes peeled for these popping up online later in the year – they’ll make great Christmas presents!
So much to see…
I had enough time to end the day looking around the halls with lots of exciting brands catching my eye. Bizzi Growin’s cute bedding (pictured), 3 Sprouts’ vibrant and fun storage solutions and The Gro Company’s pretty GroBag patterns, to name a few!
Don’t miss my final Kind + Jugend diary! I’ll tell you about the Silver Cross 2018 collection and share some of my favourite changing bags from the show.
